Over-the-top (OTT) services allow digital users to access motion pictures and television programmes without having to subscribe to a traditional television service such as satellite or cable television. The over-the-top market has experienced astonishing expansion over the past several years and this was accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Tech giants such as Google, Microsoft, and Amazon provide the cloud platforms for these OTT services, known as Google cloud platforms, Azure, and AWS.
