Google has recently announced that it is ending the “Immersive Stream for Games” cloud service, which was intended to offer its cloud services and technology to third parties for games streaming. This decision comes shortly after the sunsetting of Google Stadia, and it appears that even Google’s attempts to salvage and make use of the technology in Stadia have failed. This report comes from Axios reporter Stephen Totilo, who spoke to staff at Google regarding the Immersive Games for Streams service.
