Carahsoft’s John Lee: Security Snapshot Could Simplify Stateramp Certification Process For Csps

The State Risk and Authorization Management Program (StateRAMP) launched an early-stage security maturity evaluation tool called Security Snapshot in January 2021. Security Snapshot provides detailed information on how vendors can secure StateRAMP-certified status, including a numerical score that can be shared with prospective government clients. It also offers additional benchmarks and controls to enable cloud service providers to secure insights into third-party cloud offerings and security postures.
