Ripple has established a fund in Japan and Korea to support innovation on its XRP Ledger, a public blockchain designed for cross-border payments. The fund will provide financial, technical, and business support for developers and comes amid a “hostile regulatory environment” in the U.S. Ripple has been focusing on the Asia-Pacific region for adoption of its crypto payment services.
