Bitcoin’s blockchain technology has the potential to serve as a decentralized timestamping server and global event sequencer, opening up new avenues for innovation. To enhance its functionality, new operation codes (OP_CODES) dedicated to enabling zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs) could be introduced. This would allow for a trustless method of recording and verifying the sequence of events and timestamps of digital assets.
