This article discusses the potential benefits of integrating internet-of-things (IoT), artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI-ML), and blockchain technology (BT) in the wine industry supply chain. The proposed framework would revolutionize logistics and quality control processes, with grape producers using ML algorithms for crop prediction and wineries using IoT devices for tracking wine barrels. The authors recognize practical challenges but suggest that further research into deep learning and time series algorithms could lead to exciting developments.
