The Bank for International Settlements (BIS) has announced six new projects for its Innovation Hub in 2024, focusing on areas such as cybersecurity, financial crime, central bank digital currencies, and green finance. One project will work on “quantum-proofing” payment systems, while another will use AI and big data to improve emissions tracking in supply chains. The BIS Innovation Hub will collaborate with central banks, international organizations, and other partners on these projects.
