The Digital Nigeria International Conference was a success, with a powerful lineup of speakers and stimulating panel discussions. The event was organized by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and was opened with a speech by Director General Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi. The minister of Communications, Innovation and the Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani, pledged the government’s support for local entrepreneurs in emerging technology. Main One Cable CEO Funke Opeke and Centbee CEO Lorien Gamaroff also spoke about the potential of blockchain in an emerging economy.
