This article discusses the security potential of Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) and their potential applications in confidential computing. It also examines the opportunities and risks for telecoms carriers in using TEEs, as well as a research study conducted by Orange in 2022 that assesses the security-related impact of TEEs for telecoms.
