This year’s Forbes Asia 100 to Watch list spotlights small companies and startups from across Asia that are targeting underserved markets or applying new technologies, such as generative AI and blood-based cancer diagnostics. Companies from 13 countries and territories are represented across 11 categories, including biotechnology and healthcare, e-commerce and retail, and finance. Examples of these companies include Abacus Digital, a spinoff of Siam Commercial Bank that developed an AI-powered app to quickly provide loans, and Abillion, a social media app that allows users to share content about sustainability and purchase eco-friendly products. Verification startup Accredify uses blockchain technology to enable its customers create and manage tamper-proof documents, images and videos.
