Laos recently held its inaugural Ministerial Conference on Blockchain 4.0 Digital Transformation, led by Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone. The event focused on accelerating Laos’ digital transformation through the use of digital technologies, and outlined short-term goals for the country’s digital economy development. India is also taking steps towards digital transformation, with programs such as Aadhar, UPI, Digilocker, and e-Sign. Blockchain technology has already ushered in a revolution in the creation and management of virtual digital assets.
