Bitfinex, a digital token trading platform, is sponsoring a three-week introductory training camp for programming (coding) for women only in Ciudad del Este, Paraguay. The course, prepared by Penguin Academy, consists of a very rich curriculum, including the fundamentals of programming with Python, robotics, IoT, web development, blockchain and microelectronics. At the end of the course, a software competition and a “demo day” will be held, with the best three competitors receiving a scholarship to the Plan B Summer School in Lugano, Switzerland. This education is a big part of the new wave of change in Latin America’s traditional financial services industry, and it enables cutting-edge solutions to be discovered, thereby removing barriers to achieving a level of financial freedom.
