With the upcoming arrival of NVIDIA Isaac Sim and NVIDIA L40S GPUs to Amazon Web Services, programmers will be able to create and launch cloud-based apps for accelerated robotics. The L40S GPU is designed to handle the upcoming wave of data center workloads with its advanced AI computing, graphics, and media acceleration capabilities. Generative AI tasks are another potential use case for L40S GPUs, such as real-time inferencing in text-to-image and chat apps, or fine-tuning big language models in hours. The L40S allows for extremely rapid real-time rendering, improving engineering and robotics teams’ performance by up to 3.8 times compared to the previous version of Omniverse. ABI Research predicts that mobile robots in warehouses would generate revenue that more than triples from $11.6 billion in 2023 to $42.2 billion by 2030.
