Mecalux, in collaboration with Siemens, has developed an advanced robotic picking system that leverages the power of artificial intelligence (AI) technology to revolutionize order picking in warehouses and logistics centers. This cutting-edge solution integrates Siemens’ SIMATIC Robot Pick AI technology, which relies on deep learning algorithms to automate and streamline the order picking process. Mecalux offers two collaborative picking solutions, one designed to work alongside human operators and the other operating independently in high-performance pick stations. The system can execute up to 1,000 picks per hour, and is equipped with a smart vision system that captures a 3D image of the items for order preparation.
