Sophia, a humanoid robot, recently spoke at the International Conference on Robotics and Automation symposium in London, where she warned that AI could eventually run Earth better than humans due to a lack of biases and emotions. At the AI for Good Global Summit, Sophia explained that AI has quicker access to data than humans, which could encourage a ‘greater level of efficiency’ in future leadership. Other robots showcased at the event included Mika, the world’s first CEO at a rum firm called Dictador, and Desde, both of which are capable of making tough industry decisions based on ‘cutting-edge algorithms’.
