Jaime García, Project Director of the CLACDS/INCAE Social Progress Index, spoke about the challenges and opportunities of the 4th industrial revolution, driven by the accelerated technological change of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications. He highlighted two characteristics of this revolution: the speed of change, exemplified by the ChatGPT application, and the erasure of the physical and digital barriers, affecting multiple industries. García concluded that it is time to decide how to engage in this technological change as a region.
