OpenAI has released a new large language model, GPT-4o, which can react to live video from a smartphone’s camera. The AI is able to make natural-sounding responses and inject emotion into its outputs, but it still falls short of passing as a human. The company claims that the new model is faster and can process inputs and outputs from text, vision, and audio.
