Milos Rusic, Malte Pietsch, and Timo Möller founded deepset in 2018 in Berlin, with the goal of providing enterprise services to address semantic search opportunities at European industrial giants. They created the Haystack Python framework and now have moved to a more product-focused concern with the deepset Cloud platform. The platform is designed to help enterprise product teams successfully build and launch NLP-powered applications, and provides a modern application development approach to minimize the risks of failure, improve time-to-results, and optimize the costs of implementation.
