Text annotation is an important step in the development of natural language processing (NLP) technologies such as chatbots, ASR, and sentiment analysis. Entity annotation teaches NLP models to recognize named entities, keyphrases, and bits of speech inside a text, while entity linking connects entities to larger databases of information about them.
