Google Unveils Palm 2, Its Most Powerful General-purpose Ai Yet, To Power Bard Chatbot

Google unveiled PaLM 2, its most powerful general-purpose AI yet, at its annual developer conference Google I/O. PaLM 2 is a transformer-based large language model artificial intelligence developed by Google Research that powers the company’s Bard AI chatbot and other products. It brings a number of improvements over the original PaLM, such as multilingual understanding, better logical reasoning and coding capabilities, and the ability to understand more than 100 languages. PaLM 2 can now pass advanced language proficiency exams at the “mastery” level and has superior reasoning capabilities.
