Utilizing Radiomics For Differential Diagnosis Of Inverted Papilloma And Chronic Rhinosinusitis With Polyps Based On Unenhanced Ct Scans

This article discusses the development and validation of radiomics models for differentiating between inverted papilloma and chronic rhinosinusitis with polyps using unenhanced CT images. The models were found to have high accuracy and AUC, with the random forest classifier performing the best. The use of contrast-enhanced CT was also mentioned, but potential risks associated with contrast agents were noted.
