To Speed Autism Diagnosis, Researchers Turn To Ai

A new study has found that a machine learning model, called AutMedAI, can accurately predict autism in children under the age of 2 with nearly 80% accuracy. The model uses 28 different parameters, including factors like when a child first smiled and the presence of eating difficulties, to make its predictions. This could potentially lead to earlier diagnosis and intervention for children with autism, improving their quality of life.
