Mississippi State University scientists are developing an advanced technology to automate the tedious process of harvesting blackberries. This includes a blackberry detection and localization system powered by artificial intelligence, as well as a soft touch robotic arm and gripper. The system is designed to quickly and accurately identify and pick ripe blackberries without damaging them.
