Apple is expected to introduce new AI features in iOS 18, with two levels of capabilities – basic features that can be processed on-device and more advanced features that require a connection to Apple’s AI servers. These features will be powered by Siri and will include tasks such as summarizing articles, opening specific documents, and analyzing user behavior on their devices. The on-device AI capabilities will require an iPhone 15 Pro or later, while compatibility with older iPhones may vary.
