The Autonomous Greenhouse Challenge hackathon event concluded the first phase of the competition, with five teams advancing to the next phase. During the online challenge, teams had to detect dwarf tomato plants using computer vision and grow virtual tomatoes in a simulated greenhouse environment. The top five teams were announced after a five-hour hybrid hackathon event where they completed an additional task and pitched their approach to a jury.
