Diu, Navy Issue Success Memos To 5 Machine Learning Operations Toolset Providers

The Defense Innovation Unit and the U.S. Navy have awarded success memos to five vendors for their prototypes and fielded machine learning operations tools designed to modify, track, and redeploy ML algorithms on unmanned underwater vehicles. These tools have enabled the Navy’s machine learning developers to focus on creating and refining automatic target recognition models, resulting in a significant decrease in the time needed to update the machine learning pipeline.
