Dementia Can Be Predicted With 82% Accuracy With The New Test

A new test has been developed that can accurately detect dementia with an 82% success rate. The test uses machine learning and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to identify alterations in the brain’s default mode network (DMN). This can potentially detect signs of dementia up to nine years before a formal diagnosis is made.
