Deep Learning Approaches Towards Skin Lesion Classification With Dermoscopic Images

This article discusses the use of deep learning in classifying skin lesions, with the goal of improving accuracy and addressing challenges such as small datasets and data imbalance. The author reviews over 200 articles and conducts experiments using different deep learning approaches, including combining traditional machine learning methods. The results show promising potential for deep learning in accurately classifying skin diseases, which can be life-saving in early detection.
