A recent study conducted at Mount Sinai Health System found that using AI-generated alerts to signal adverse changes in a patient’s health can significantly reduce the need for intensive care and decrease the chances of death. The study also showed that these automated machine learning algorithms outperformed traditional methods in predicting clinical deterioration. This could lead to earlier interventions and potentially save more lives.
