This article discusses three original research studies and eight articles from the Advances in Synthetic Biology Special Issue. The studies cover topics such as skin cutaneous melanoma, glycan-bead coupling and acoustic ejection mass spectrometry, and the use of network pharmacology and informatics to identify therapeutic targets for osteoporosis treatment. The Special Issue articles focus on topics such as parallel purification of microscale libraries, predicting social anxiety disorder using artificial intelligence techniques, and experimental advances in synthetic biology.
