Robot Helps Feed Patients With Mobility Issues

Cornell University researchers have developed a robotic feeding system that uses computer vision, machine learning, and multimodal sensing to assist individuals with severe mobility issues. The system is designed to adjust to users’ movements and can distinguish between spasms, intentional bites, and users moving to get the food into their mouths.
