The County Government of Nakuru has implemented an AI system at its Nakuru County Referral and Teaching Hospital to improve healthcare services through data-driven decision making and innovative technologies. This includes using machine learning algorithms to identify patterns and predict diseases, as well as utilizing chatbots and virtual assistants for preliminary medical advice and remote patient monitoring devices for timely interventions. The initiative has been supported by the National Tuberculosis program and is seen as a step towards revolutionizing healthcare in Africa and beyond.
