This article discusses the potential of using Large Language Models (LLMs), a generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) technique, to facilitate the translation between drug molecules and their corresponding indications. The creation of molecules from indications, or vice versa, could greatly benefit the drug discovery process and revolutionize the field in the era of generative AI. The article also highlights current limitations and future work to improve the performance on this task.
