Uc Irvine Is Making Big Strides With Nursing-focused Ai Models

Jung In Park, an associate professor at the University of California Irvine School of Nursing, is using artificial intelligence and large datasets to improve patient care and outcomes. Her research focuses on predicting hospital-acquired infections, readmission rates, and survival rates using national cancer registries, electronic health records, and wearable sensor data.
