A team of researchers, led by University of Washington professor Jenq-Neng Hwang, has developed a method for teaching AI to monitor the poses of babies in order to help identify potential signs of autism. This project highlights the challenges of training AI algorithms with limited data, and the potential for AI to assist in medical diagnosis.
