Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) was founded in 2019 as part of the UAE’s national strategy for AI. It is the world’s first graduate research university dedicated to AI, and offers executive education and graduate degrees in computer vision, machine learning, natural language processing, and robotics. The university has 276 students enrolled, 19% of whom come from the UAE, and has produced 111 graduates to date, 90% of whom remain in the UAE. MBZUAI has also established a state-of-the-art campus supercomputing centre (CSCC) optimised for distributed AI computation.
