Penn State’s new Master of Professional Studies in Artificial Intelligence program is graduating its first two students, Balsam Hindi and Jasper Short. The 33-credit online program focuses on designing, developing and deploying AI and machine learning, and includes courses on topics like natural language processing, AI foundations, ethics, machine vision, deep learning, and more. Hindi and Short enrolled in the program to learn more about AI to apply it to their jobs, and have acquired new skills in large language models, reinforcement learning, AI ethics, data visualization and more.
