A recent study has employed artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to evaluate and forecast the impact of microplastics on soil parameters. The study, headed by Yong Sik Ok, President of the International Environmental, Social, and Governance Association (IESGA) in South Korea, used machine learning (ML) techniques to gain a deeper understanding of the relationship between soil and microplastics. The results indicated that many parameters, including type, size, shape, and dosage, had a notable influence on soil attributes, with size being a particularly important element.
