Nasmin Jiwani and Ketan Gupta, doctoral students at University of the Cumberlands, have developed a new smart device for measuring heart rate and respiratory rate that has been officially approved for a patent. The CardioRespi Monitor can accurately identify abnormal heart rates and respiratory patterns, monitor overall health and fitness levels, and detect potential health issues. The device utilizes state-of-the-art electronic components and AI-based natural language processing technology for seamless voice interaction. By harnessing the power of artificial intelligence and machine learning, the device can predict patterns and abnormalities in heart and respiratory rates, enabling the early identification of critical diseases.
