Google’s DeepMind has recently introduced Open X-Embodiment, a vast shared database of 500 skills and 150,000 tasks from 22 different types of robots, in order to advance robotics research. This dataset covers a wide range of functions, allowing researchers to explore various aspects of robot learning. Open X-Embodiment holds the potential to enhance the learning capabilities of robots, and by facilitating the exchange of knowledge and data, it fosters a collaborative environment where breakthroughs can be made at an accelerated pace.
