Grayscale Investments recently announced that NYSE Arca filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to convert Grayscale Ethereum [ETH] Trust into a spot Ethereum ETF. Following the partial victory of Ripple [XRP] in its legal battle with the U.S. SEC, ETH soared to a three-month high and surpassed the $2K-price mark. ETH is the second-largest cryptocurrency, with a market cap above $200 billion and is the bedrock of several blockchain projects.
