Aurigo is a company that provides modern and cloud-based solutions for capital infrastructure and private owners to help them plan, build, and maintain assets efficiently. Founded in 2003 by Balaji Sreenivasan, Aurigo has over 300 customers in transportation, water and utilities, healthcare, higher education, and government on over 40,000 projects across North America. Pulse 2.0 interviewed Sreenivasan to learn more about how the idea for Aurigo Software came together and how he was introduced to tech. Sreenivasan was introduced to tech at the age of eight and pursued mechanical engineering before becoming a proud alumnus of the University of Florida and the Harvard Business School. He founded Aurigo to modernize the construction inspection process, which was predominantly manual and cumbersome.
