The US Air Force is seeking help from industry to develop advanced technologies such as nano-computing, neuromorphic computing, machine learning, and embedded deep learning. Companies are invited to submit white papers to the Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate in Rome, NY, for the four-year Extreme Computing program. The program is worth up to $497.9 million and will focus on three areas: advancing computing technology and applications; nano-computing; neuromorphic computing and applying machine learning; and computers, algorithms, and applications for embedded deep learning.
