Why Rrc Polytech Students Are Racing Miniature Cars

On Thursday, Red River College Polytechnic hosted the Winnipeg DeepRacer Competition, powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS). The competition saw 30 teams, including eight student teams from RRC Polytech, race AI-operated miniature cars. The cars are 1/18th in scale and are driven using machine learning technologies. The goal of the event was to help participants build, train, and deploy machine learning models, and also explore how artificial intelligence will impact the future. The competition was designed to make machine learning skills more accessible to people without a lot of experience.
