Google is celebrating its 25th anniversary by looking back at some of its most important milestones. These include the launch of Google Images in 2001 to help people find the pictures they were looking for, the introduction of the “Did you mean?” feature in 2001 to help with spelling corrections, the launch of Google News in 2002 to provide real-time news, and the introduction of autocomplete in 2004 to predict queries in the search bar.
