Today, experts gathered at EPFL to discuss the implications of generative AI and machine learning on society. A McKinsey Global Survey found that one-third of organizations are already using generative AI regularly, and more than one-quarter of companies using AI have it on their boards’ agendas. The event focused on the latest research innovations, as well as risks and solutions at both political and societal levels. EPFL Assistant Professor Antoine Bosselut believes that more checks and balances are needed to ensure that the technology is used for the benefit of all.
