On August 8, 2023, electric vehicle charging company ChargePoint announced its plan to achieve 100% uptime across its network of 243,000 active charging ports. The plan includes 24/7 proactive station monitoring, using machine learning to speed identification of stations that are down, and integrating predictive analytics to keep the whole system running smoothly. Additionally, ChargePoint will scan social media mentions to quickly identify individual stations with problems. Two surveys, the JD Power Electric Vehicle Experience Public Charging Study and the Plug In America EV Driver Survey, are currently assessing EV experience satisfaction with ownership.
