AI is the concept of creating smart intelligent machines that simulate human intelligence, while ML is a subset of AI that uses vast amounts of data and complex algorithms to train a model. Generative AI is a type of AI system capable of generating text, images or other media in response to prompts. ChatGPT is an example of a Generative AI chatbot created by OpenAI that has been trained on massive datasets of human language and can be used for a variety of tasks such as writing emails, summarizing survey response data, and assisting with writing code. Microsoft is investing heavily in a product called Copilot, which uses AI to help make better decisions.
