Splunk has announced new AI-powered features, IT operations observability, and security capabilities at its .conf23 event. These features include Splunk Edge Hub, an embedded device that streams industrial and IoT sensor data into Splunk; the Splunk AI assistant; and updates to Splunk’s security and observability products. The goal of the new products is to provide customers with a unified set of tools to detect, investigate, and respond to incidents across hybrid IT environments.
