IQVIA’s Digital Enablement Center of Excellence attended SXSW in Austin, Texas in March to explore the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in Healthcare Marketing. Sessions highlighted the use of supercomputers for medical literature analysis, existing technology adapted for healthcare, AI chatbots, and hospital-at-home care. The importance of human involvement in AI/ML was also emphasized, as well as the potential for improved health outcomes and lower readmission rates with care received at home.
